Happy Halloween

Ellery as a clown on Halloween and me as a clown when I was about her age.

Ready to go!

Clay as...? Basically we pulled out my Prop Box 20 minutes before we had to leave and put on random stuff. I just happened to have a fake mustache : )

We went to our church's Trunk or Treat instead of going house to house. There were tons of cars, so it was perfect. Ellery did great. She was definitely a little overwhelmed by the crowds, but it only made her too shy to talk, not too shy to trick or treat. The very first car she said "trick or treat" and after that she just had her hand in her mouth the whole time (this is a comfort thing) and wouldn't say a word. But she did great going up to each person handing out candy and holding her bucket out. She also didn't mind the crowds or being a little independent from me (surprising). And even though it was a lot of walking, carrying a heavy bucket (from SO much candy), she did great. She also didn't try to eat any of it until the end when we gave her some.

Fingers in her mouth. Picking her nose ha.

She got a hug from one of the young women dressed as a princess. I think E thought she was a real princess. You can't tell in the picture, but Ellery loved this.

First pixie stick ever. A little surprising...ha

I basically went in my pjs with a mask on. lame.
