I have never cried so much in a movie before
Clay and I just saw the movie 17 Miracles. It was so good. And so sad. I'm sure everyone in the theatre cried. I think I was especially touched by the movie because it portrays the true stories of my ancestors. One of my great grandfathers, John Linford, was even a character in the movie. I am truly grateful for my heritage. I am grateful to those incredible saints who crossed the plains and suffered so many horrible trials because of their great faith. Because of them, I have the life that I have today. I would not be who I am or where I am if I didn't have the gospel of Jesus Christ, and I know it was those early saints and leaders of the church who made it possible for me to have the gospel. I am grateful that we have a loving Father in Heaven who grants us so many blessings and a Savior who loves us more than we know and has made it possible for us to return to Him.
You can read more about the pioneers here. and more about the Gospel here.

It's Official
We're moving to Dallas in September! Clay got a great job in the ICU unit at UT Southwestern. We're thrilled about the job, excited for the adventure, sad to move from Utah, and nervous to start a new job in a new place one month before baby arrives. It will be good. I'm sure. It's a big transition, but change is good. I'm mostly not looking forward to the weather, but I do like Texas other than that. And it's only about 4 hours from Clay's family. Anybody know anything about Dallas? : )

Happy Birfday
I turned 22 last week! : ) Here's a little bit of how my day went:
We kept it classy for lunch- Target Pizza Hut Pizza in the park : ) My fav
Then Clay decided to trick me into a mini hike. This is how I reacted. Hiking is not my ideal activity on my birthday. But baby needed some vitamin D and a little exercise, so I agreed.
Cute hubby.
Then the family came over.
And we went to the Melting Pot in Salt Lake. Definitely a different dining experience. Seven people sharing two small fondue pots got a little crazy. It was yummy though : )
Then I opened lots of presents, mainly baby stuff, which of course, I loved. The kitty liked all the excitement of opening presents too until he became the model for all the baby clothes. He didn't love the tutu.
He couldn't even walk normal in it. This is him sadly trying to escape and then just giving up.

Thanks to all my family and friends for the birthday wishes and love : ) It truly made my day!

Etc.
I took these pictures last YEAR and forgot to post them! My beautiful girls:
Lately:
Testing my new flash on McKenna
Kitty loves Clay
Me & the bride at her wedding : )
My tummy's so big now I'm always spilling on it!
Clay surprised me and took me to my very first RODEO! : ) It was pretty fun. Now I get to check off number 24 on my 30 by 30 list! Thanks babe! You're wonderful.
Clay and my dad playing some ping pong.
I told you, kitty loves Clay!
Our little neighbor boy left this note on our door for Clay. Isn't that SO cute?! Clay does play the piano beautifully : ) I absolutely love having a piano in our home.
Oh you know, just practicing for after baby arrives.
okay this wasn't "lately." It was about 2 months ago? but I still feel like this often. This is what I look like after throwing up all day, and my hormones are giving me acne like I'm in middle school again. Pregnancy is not so glamorous..
