What?! An actual blog post with more than one picture!? Yes! Here's a little snippet from Ellery's third birthday a few weeks ago.
This park in Grapevine (Dove Park) was awesome. Look at that giant slide!

Ellery actually went down the giant slide no problem, with Clay.
My parents came down for Ellery's third birthday, and it was so so nice to have them here!

This park had a little zip line.
She was scared but loved it.
Afterward the park we took Ellery to get cupcakes (this was not on her actual birthday).
And then on her actual birthday we made a strawberry cake (that she had been dying for almost all year).
Ha. She was worried when he first lit the candles.
It turned out SUPER yummy!
My mom made Ellery this little blue nightgown, and Ellery is obsessed. Can you tell?!
Bedtime stories. Ellery LOVES these scripture books that her Grandma Shurtliff and Aunt Ariane got her. We read them almost every night.

Later, Clay's mom came in town to take Ellery on a very special birthday date.
