UT Trip Dec 2013 Part III

Had to play in the snow while we were in UT! : )

Clay took Ellery sledding twice. The first time I didn't go, and supposedly she loved it. The second time I came along and she was terrified! Not sure if it was me being there, or her mood that day, or a scarier hill, or what. Poor baby did NOT want to sled! She did like playing in the snow though.

 Scared to death ^

After that, Clay had to go solo!

They made some pretty good snowmen!
(Note my dad is wearing basketball shorts in the snow! ha)

She LOVED making snow angels : )

I kind of love that she's old enough to cheese-it for the camera : D

Went to see the lights at Temple Square.

Oh, and not pictured, but just thought I'd mention for my own journaling sake, before we went to see the lights, we stopped at my Grandma's house in Bountiful to visit with her for a little. Clay, Ellery and I also spent a day in Provo while we were in Utah. We visited Allan (the elderly man we used to live with and take care of when we were first married). He turns 96 next month, and he is doing about the exact same as he was when we lived with him. He was very happy to see us. We also visited BYU campus, which was fun. It has changed a bit (they are always updating the buildings!). We ate lunch and had ice cream at the Creamery (the grocery store/diner where Clay used to work...and my dad back when he was at BYU). Also to note, Ellery loved Christmas music this year (although we didn't listen to it a ton). She liked Santa's Coming to Town, and Jingle Bells. She also memorized all the words to The Most Wonderful Time of the Year because she has a toy that sings it. Also, one night while we were in UT, we had put Ellery to bed, and she was silent for about ten minutes, and then all of the sudden we heard her singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in a funny voice over the monitor, like she was singing in her sleep. Then she was silent for about five minutes. Then we heard her do the same thing again. Then silent the rest of the night. Nothing cuter than hearing your baby sing in their crib! : )
