We went camping over Thanksgiving weekend with Clay's family in Houston. It was definitely warm enough to go camping, but cold enough to wear lots of layers and stick by the fire! We enjoyed yummy tin foil dinners, s'mores, and a delicious breakfast hash : ) Ellery did much better than I expected. But I basically expected the worst. She woke up several times in the night, crying, but we did get some sleep : ) When we got to the camp site, Clay's parents had already put up a tent for us with the pack n' play all set up inside and ready to go. That was super nice! Of course Ellery had a blast running around with her cousins (although she kind of had a hard time keeping her balance on the uneven ground). This camping trip cured her of her ladylike, don't-like-dirt trait. Ever since we've been back, she's been playing in the dirt, leaves, ANT hills (yikes. Clay saved her before it was too late. She only got one bite on her knuckle and never cried)...All in all, I would say camping is more fun
without littles. haha. But it's still pretty fun : )

I love this picture. A real moment with Dallin. Her cousins are so sweet to her.
Us looking lovely in the morning
Dallin and Caleb were really good helpers. Ellery kept falling down on the uneven ground and they would help her get back up.
