We gave miss E solids for the first time a few days ago.
The verdict: not so bad

Messy!
She is less messy now (I wasn't TRYING to be clean the first time like I have been since). She makes little gulping noises with most of the bites now, and I'd say only about 40% of it comes back out (then I scoop it back in her mouth off of her chin).
She is so cute and chunky, just like Hailey was!
