Houston for Mother's Day

We went down to Houston for Mother's Day.

On the drive down

Ellery does fairly well on our 3+ hour trips to Houston, but sometimes she makes bored face like this ^ haha

On Sunday morning Clay made a beautiful and delicious frittata for us. He came up with the recipe and made it all on his own! I'm such a lucky girl to have a husband who likes to cook and is really good at it

Carter and Ellery holding hands! Her cousins are all SO sweet to her. Every one of them adores her and treats her like a princess. Love it.

Her and Carter were both stone faced and silent for most of it hahaha.

But really they loved it!

So funny to me that she wasn't more expressive, since she normally is and this was an exciting new thing! Ya never know, I guess!

 Of course, she didn't want to get off!

 They have a cool tunnel at the Houston zoo that goes through a fish tank. Ellery is very afraid of tunnels (claustrophobic?!), so we all had to help her get through it.
